Located in Wambrechies, on the outskirts of Lille, Studio APC unfolds within a waterside atelier conceived as a creative refuge. A place removed from industrial rhythms, where the slow tempo of the hand regains its significance. Here, embroidery is not confined to ornamentation: it becomes a medium in its own right, capable of engaging in dialogue with architecture, space, and contemporary uses.
At the crossroads of traditional embroidery and contemporary textile expression, Adèle Perrin—trained at the renowned École Lesage—has developed a cross-disciplinary practice spanning interior decoration, scenography, fashion, and collaborations with designers. Studio APC supports both one-of-a-kind pieces and the development of small series, adapting to the scale and constraints of each project while, when necessary, drawing on a network of specialized partners.
The work produced in the atelier is distinguished by a refined command of pattern, relief, and materiality, as well as by more liberated compositions reminiscent of haute couture embroidery. Threads, beads, textiles, and unexpected elements are assembled with precision to create tactile surfaces in which embroidery emancipates itself from its support, becoming an almost architectural decorative language.
Studio APC thus aligns itself with a contemporary vision of the crafts, where savoir-faire serves as both a source of inspiration and a starting point for bespoke collaborations with professionals in design, interior architecture, and luxury.
