FORMÆ launches its #11 issue on the occasion of Milan Design Week 2026. Present on site, the editorial team highlights several significant initiatives, including the new chapter of DEORON, which continues its exploration of design between research, culture and lifestyle.

Founded in 2021, DEORON has established itself as a platform for discovery, promoting an intentional approach to objects. Through its editorial direction and its selection of designers and studios, the platform advocates for a vision of design grounded in meaning, materiality, and craftsmanship.

Following a widely noted debut during Milan Design Week 2025 — which brought together 46 designers and welcomed over 5,000 visitors — DEORON returns this year with an exhibition of significantly greater scale.

Located at Via Padova 11 in the Loreto district, the exhibition takes place in a former 800-square-metre industrial building, once used as a ball bearing factory and recently transformed into a cultural space. Developed in collaboration with the Porta Venezia Design District, the project opens this venue to the public for the first time.

The 2026 edition brings together more than 50 international designers, brands, and independent studios, spanning furniture, lighting, objects, technology, and lifestyle. The selection combines emerging talents with established figures in industrial design, offering an open-ended overview of contemporary practices.

Conceived as an immersive experience, the exhibition moves beyond a traditional display format. Objects, architecture, and sound come together to form a spatial narrative in which visitors are invited to move freely, sit, test, and engage with the pieces on view. •
